This basic training course has been designed to give new shooters an technical understanding of the general operation, ethical responsibility and various safety rules and measures. This Course focuses specifically on modern semi-automatic pistols and carry size revolvers.

This course is 2 1/2 hours long and includes on-site range time training to shoot a standard semi-automatic or revolver.

Students will learn the NRA’s and M.T.s rules for safe gun handling; the particular pistol model parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; basics of cleaning your gun; and ongoing training to enhance your skills and confidence.

Come see us and get awesome training before you buy your first Handgun.

You can arrange to purchase ammunition from MT for use in class, or bring your own with your gun. If needed, we will supply to you with, a Glock 19, 9mm or Springfield XD Service 9mm, semi-automatic pistol which are a pretty common pistol. Handgun, Gear and Ammunition are included, unless student requests the use of their own Gun.

You will get real trigger time experience from firing live ammunition and learning about technical features and training issues that are necessary when purchasing your first Handgun.
