Security Guard Training
ARIZONA
ARMED GUARD CERTIFICATION
and RE-CERTIFICATION
You are invited to attend the new D. P. S. required 16 hour Armed Guard Course and 8 hour re- certification course.
Curriculum Includes:
- Safety, Familiarization and Maintenance of a Firearm
- Non-Lethal and Improvised Weapons
- Defensive Tactics, Uniforms and Body Armor Issues
- Arizona Law pertaining to firearms and "deadly physical force"
- Mental conditioning, Threat Awareness and Escalation
- Weapon retention and Close Quarter Combat Tactics
- Written testing and Firearm shooting qualification
Equipment Required:
- Working & Reliable handgun
- Quality strong side holster
- 250 rounds of ammunition
- 2+ magazines or speed loaders (3-4 is strongly recommended)
- Dual magazine or speed loader pouch
Tuition :
$150.00 for the 16 hour initial course
We include: D.P.S. Fingerprinting, Range and Facility Fees
Targets, equipment and basic course materials are included!
$100.00 for the 8-hour annual refresher course
$95.00, 3 Hour Armed Guard Add on to an M.T. CCW course.
